Adarsh Nagarajan, Ph.D. is a Principal Researcher at the U.S. Department of Energy's National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), where he leads cutting-edge research on emerging energy technologies, including energy storage, advanced grid modeling, and distributed energy systems. He serves as an advisor to the U.S. Department of Energy and directs NREL's South Asia energy transition program, supporting regional governments in grid modernization and policy development. With over 100 peer-reviewed publications and 1,000 citations, Dr. Nagarajan is a senior IEEE member. Alok Kumar,

He has completed 35 years long career in public policy and economic development in India's premier federal civil service (IAS) reaching up to distinguished position of Secretary in federal government with extensive experience in electricity, renewable energy, energy transition, infrastructure development and skill development domains. He has led several large commercial organisations as CEO and played a key role in formulation and implementation of several national/state level policies, programmes and regulatory interventions. During 2021 - 2023, he Successfully managed the operations of India's power system, one of the largest in the world, along with steering wide-ranging sectoral reforms. He has deep understanding of global energy transition aspects as chair of G20 Energy Transitions Working Group in 2022- 2023.

Presently he is Professor of Practice in Department of Hydro and Renewable Energy at IIT Roorkee, and chairs the Inter- Ministerial Working Group set up by NITI Aayog to develop power sector pathway to achieve Net Zero commitment by India. In 2025, he has been appointed as Independent Director on the Board of Power Exchange India Limited. He is also Partner with The Lantau Group (Singapore) Pte Ltd.

She has over eight years of professional experience, including more than four years with ISGF, where she has led several innovative first-of-a-kind (FOAK) projects such as the pilot demonstration of Time of Use (TOU) tariff for electricity in Uttar Pradesh, drone and AI-driven asset mapping of 22 kV transmission lines in Maharashtra, and the world's first Digital Energy Grid demonstration in Uttar Pradesh enabling peer-to-peer (P2P) rooftop solar trading on blockchain and digital platforms built on the Unified Energy Interface (UEI) architecture.

In her current role, she is actively supporting UPPCL, UPREV, and state DISCOMs in developing regulatory and commercial frameworks for energy storage, open access, EV infrastructure, and distributed solar, while also contributing to consultations with UPERC, the Ministry of Power, and MNRE. (JSPL), as Head of the Electrical Maintenance department in their 6X135 MW Power Plant at Angul, Orissa, in the period 2011-2013, and in Tata Power Jamshedpur Distribution Ltd. (TPJDL), Jamshedpur, a Franchise undertaken by Tata Power for the Jharkhand State Electricity Board (JSEB), as Head-Projects, in the period 2013-2014.

He experienced in installation, testing, commissioning & maintenance of MV, HV & EHV Overhead and Underground distribution and sub-transmission networks and all associated network elements including the Protection systems.
